-The Sorrow of Sinnoh, The Lights of Olivine-
You are ____, a 17 year old boy from the Sinnoh region. Twinleaf Town, to be exact. You became a trainer around three years ago, but your journey with your newly acquired Chimchar got tragically cut short due to an unfortunate accident. Really, you were lucky to even get past Roark.
As a result, you hastily left Sinnoh, your friends, and your family behind to try for a new start somewhere. Anywhere, really. Luckily,you were able to make your way to Canalave City, and through a great deal of bribery and (rather embarassing) dares, you were able to secure a ticket for the ferry headed to the Johto region.
When you did finally arrive in the Olivine City port, you quickly found out that, although the whole "new start and fresh outlook!" thing *did* help with your anxiety, it unfortunately did *not* help with the money, clothes, shelter, or food situation. You were homeless and hungry before you knew it.
One chilly night in Olivine City, while desperately looking for something to eat, you came across a crumpled, slightly sticky piece of paper hanging off of a light post. Without a second thought, you savagely tore the paper off the post and
shoved the bottom portion in your mouth and started chewing. That's when something on the top of the page caught your eye.
