If they're having a hard time with the Pokemon they have already, they should've either cut more and made the game flawless, or just stop adding Pokemon for a while, so they can focus on making the games actually worth the money we pay for them, and most normalfags don't give a shit if there are any new ones or not.
Hell, I wouldn't mind it if it WAS permanent, that way each new game would focus on fleshing out new gimmicks, or actually putting a damn into the story/singleplayer.

Having your team get wiped out and come back mid-fight when you cheer for them is a vastly less problematic way to prevent these young minds from developing PTSD too early in their lives, and I'm glad that Game Freak is willing to adapt to the 21st century and provide a safe space for our children!
