It's a cool design but it just doesn't fit the line.
but you could make an argument saying it's based on mexican afterlife. the marigold petal on fuecoco's head, the sombrero on the second evo, and the ghost sugar skull on the final. it's just kind of lack luster. like oh, that's the direction you chose, oh alright
