So, what do you guys think of this?
Otelpor Route is meant to be visited a few times, so obviously there are quite a lot of different paths to take. It was my goal to make a route with branching paths, because they're some of my favorites in the games.
To explain a few gimmicks: the big cave entrances don't lead to caves as in dungeons. You just enter them and so you can't see your character anymore. You have to walk around to discover where you're supposed to go, and sometimes you'll get encounters with special Pokémon (as in, Pokémon you can't find on the route otherwise). In this case the three of them are straight paths so nothing crazy, but they're a way for me to add depth to the world even though it's only third gen.
The dirty path south of the map has itemballs buried in it. Sometimes though, the itemballs are actually a Pokémon, the usual Fungus/Voltorb stuff I guess.
Also, the elevated path on the left has a bunch of trainers so even though it appears empty, it isn't in-game.
Anyway, that's it and I'm kind of "proud" of it. It most likely could be better, but I think it's the best map I've done.
Music related is perfect for it I think:
