>>40026440Around the time I knew IVs and EVs were a thing. It was probably during BW2. I felt like I was playing Pokemon wrong this entire time. XY didn't help since it was easy as fuck and sucked story wise. I actually had a lot of fun with SM and by extension USUM now that I figured out IV breeding and EV training.
But now the wonder is gone, GameFreak just doesn't really seem to care about the series outside of adding irrelevant bs that won't be in the next games anyway, TPCI are greedy fucks that wanna turn Pokemon into microtransaction gatchashit and all the while Nintendo is nowhere to be seen on the topic.
It's just so tiring and I'm not having much fun with the series or even romhacks anymore
