The only time Machamp left the dex was with BW because Conkeldurr debuted. No mainline game passed since then without at least one of them. It's so weird they're not introducing another one. Sword had the Hatterene line which was Gardevoir/Gothitelle counterpart. They had Rolycoly which was a fusion of Geodude/Roggenrole/kaiju lines. But maybe
>>51838347 is right. If there's a new one, it will look drastically different or comical compared to Machamp/Conkeldurr. When was the last time they made a non-animal fighting type? Marshadow? Falinks? They're both cute instead of somewhat imposing or intimidating. Not saying I hate animalistic designs, but I wish there's a balance between the nu style, the "cute" fighting types, and the classic vague humanoids that gen 1 gave us.
