>>43507720>Proof of this comes from the fact that nobody can even agree what the best gen is.People can't agree on what the best gen is because Gamefreak has a 1 step forward, 2 steps back mentality to making games. Improvements and features are left behind and don't carry over to new games for absolutely no reason. There is no way to tell which Gen was an objective improvement on the last.
Arguably, only Gen 2 is a straight improvement on Gen 1, and even that's debatable because the fights are much worse.
