Let's face it, these games should have allowed you to go back to Kanto. Kanto-nostalgia was at an all time high when these games were released, the games themselves have so many nods to Kanto that it would have been fitting and would have really finished the games off. It would have taken the games from being mediocre to being great and the lack of post-game is what ruined them. Why are gamefreak so against multiple regions?
