DP's region was garbage, its dex was garbage, its story was garbage, its progression was garbage, and its balancing was garbage. There wasn't a single memorable town besides Sunyshore. Just utter garbage all-around, to the point that it was the one thing on the board back in the day that genwunners and non-genwunners could agree on. GF put a lot of effort into Platinum but they could only do so much to salvage such an incredibly disastrous pile of shit.
HGSS is literally the only redeeming quality of Gen 4 and I hope we never, ever, EVER revisit it.
