Extremely useful for leveling up low level pokemon so you can experiment and have fun. I love using it for breeding egg moves. I don't want to grind to get a move on a pokemon I'm not even going to use, but I can merely slap this on a low level pokemon, press b when it tries to evolve, zip through the elite four, and then get the move I want to breed into a new pokemon
Apparently it can't be turned off in the new games (???) but that's not my problem as I don't play the new games because I already know they suck.
