I dont think I actually ever properly played through an entire pokemon game ever. First experience was gen 4 with pokemon pearl cause my moms birthstone is pearl, got stuck on mt cornet and handed it off to one of my older family friends at the time and then started playing again once the palka battle was engaged, missing the story. I eventually beat the game and was amazed to find giritina out of seemingly no where, that made me want more legendaries so I got an action replay and got arceus and shaymin by the event code shit. I also somehow corrupted the ar 2 weeks later so it just phased out of existence for me. Embarrassing thing happened with this game, some lad from the neighborhood knocked on my door and then sweeped my 6 legendary team with a single snorlax.
Played a physical copy of the pokemon quartz romhack and got stuck because the game wasn't letting me dive to the location where the legendary sequence was supposed to start, gave up and haven't tried to finish since.
In grade 7 or 8 I stole a copy of pokemon white that fell out of an empty ds case while I was trying to find where some bully threw my hat, it had a complete save file that belonged to a Kenneth, didnt want to start a new game and lose the legendaries, still haven't played white/black or the sequels.
I save scummed my way through pokemon yellow which I emulated on my tinspire calculator during grade 9 math class because I was always ahead in class cause I wasn't fucking retarded and cause my dad literally beat the math into me.
I am certain I fully played through 1 romhack of frlg or rse on my calculator but I cant recall which one, on the other hand I also full cleared megaman bn 3,4,5,6 and castlevania aria of sorrow throught my high school career on that calculator. That thing was my best tool, even used it to cheat on grade 12 diploma exams cause teachers weren't aware or they didnt think such a good student would stop to such levels.
