Bryony breaks the stalemate by making the first move, and this ultimately seals her fate. Serena catches quick wind of her attempt, and cancels it out by countering it with a projectile attack.
"Focus Blast."

This sets off a race between Bisharp and Heliolisk. Bisharp dashes across the battlefield to bash Heliolisk out of commission with a single Knock Off, while the lizard stays in place in order to charge a Focus Blast.
"Heeeeliooooo....."
"SHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH"
Bisharp's blades scrape together as he runs, leaving behind him a trail of clings and clangs. Heliolisk however, remains calm, his Focus Blast slowly begins to expand in size.
"Heeeeeee......Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......"
As Focus Blast is known to miss often, it's a risky move to use, which is why Heliolisk puts all of his energy into making it as big as possible so it can't fluke out on Serena. The weight of the energy bearing down on him is slowly becoming a hassle, but Heliolisk struggles through the pain for the sake of the look on Bisharp's face when he gets blown the fuck out.
"Lioooooooooooooooooo.........................."
Slowly, slowly, slowly, the distance between the two Pokemon gets smaller and smaller, until Bisharp begins to near his vicinity. At that moment Heliolisk stops charging, screeches like a motherfucker, and then smacks the Focus Blast with his tail.
"LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSK!"
The collision is immediate. Focus Blast strikes into Bisharp with the force of a thousand suns, explodes in a storm of smoke, consumes him in a fiery flurry of spiritual energy, and then knocks him back into a wall so hard that he creates a crater.
When he pops out of the crater, he smells of burnt toast and JUSTICE.
A) Heliolisk goes full super I'm just saiyan.
B) Welp Bryony done got BTFO, time for a probability-based pun!
