If you pick the male-looking character for example your mother refers to you as son and multiple characters several times within the first few minutes of the game refer to you as he and him. That intro alone uses more gendered terms to refer to you than the entirety of the script of previous mainline Pokemon games.
That being said, I really don't give two shits about this one way or the other, I am just tired of the schizo fighting about it taking over every thread on this site. So glad all these leaks and the rom dump itself came out so now the Pokemon board is actually talking about Pokemon for once instead of sperging out over this all the time.
