If you still own your original cart, that's a completely valid stance. It's sad, but my original Diamond and Platinum were lost or stolen years ago.
I also want to play with friends, especially in the Underground. ROMs and emulation are great, but they are ultimately lonely experiences.
If you don't want to get it I understand and I hope GF makes a game that makes you feel hope again
