I'm sorry to have to break it to you, but no matter what, Ash will just see Serena as a good friend. It's not happening nor will it ever happen. Ash has been with, that is traveling with her for what, over 50 episodes and has not shown a single sign that shows his emotions for her, despite her showing him his. Ash being a complete dumbass, has yet to realize it. All he's thinking about is his next gym battle, of course.
