Westerns had that wild frontier feel about them, while also fucking up the locals if they were causing trouble. If it weren't for Star Trek, I don't know what we'd have to space operas. There's BSG and Farscape, along with some others. Trek is what really made space travel a household idea, outside of NASA (RIP).
Season 7 of DS9 doesn't exist in my mind. That series was so fucking good, then Dukat went batshit insane, in a bad way. Sisko got all messiah, and the rest is history. Friggin' Michael Piller leaving. It could have been so much more.
>>14228615Very true about the movies, the TNG ones should have never been made, and I can't forgive Jew Nose for doing that to Data. DS9 is only slightly higher than TNG for me. DS9 is a great story. TNG moved me as a human, and influenced a lot of my beliefs.
