I don't get it. I really, really don't. I'm really fucking enjoying swsh. I honest to god am. I don't know if I would be if I had to fucking pay for that shit, but I don't pay for games and honestly, I'm having a fucking blast. Some of my favorite mons were cut, and that sucks, but I'm also using mons I never would have looked at for long otherwise and with the DLCs this feels way more open world than the old games. I miss big, sprawling, labyrinthine routes very badly, honestly, but the wild areas, the gold aura mechanics, Dynamax and raid shit, the new mons, and most of all the new characters has really endeared me.
It's right up there with my other favorite, gen 5. It doesn't fucking have to have everything and do everything, we have literally all the fucking games at our disposal. I'll admit I'd like to know where the fuck all that goddamn dirty pokemon blood money is going if not into making the next end-all-be-all perfect pokemon game, but for what it is, swsh is fucking fun.
