Anyone who thinks ignoring the best version of a game and only remaking the older, weaker versions of the game without any improvements and additions given by the third game is a drone.

ORAS does have some nice things, Dexnav is great and I want it to be a permanent feature from now on
it won't though because Game Freak are hacks and I liked what they did with Secret Bases, but I was listing things that weren't in ORAS in that post which is why I didn't mention them. There are also faults I have with ORAS that aren't related to what they cut. I would rate ORAS "average" as a standalone game without context, my issues with it are mostly as a remake.
