It' written by someone with a serious chip on her shoulder who insists she has to have been designed to be intentionally offensive.
She states that its down to the Japanese sense of superioirty and cites the fact they wouldn't let the US build a military base on their mainland as evidence towards that. The whole article is inflamatory and you could argue she intended to create anti-japanese sentiments in America by using such a political example as evidence.
