It's no surprise being "productive" can mean a lot more than simply typing out a lot of words. The editing process itself is a critical part of making a fiction worthwhile to a reader. If you can somehow defy the laws of nature and pump out thousands of words a night, that's wonderful - seriously you deserve kudos. Just keep in mind that neglecting to pay attention during the editing process will not do your craft any favors and you might leave in some ugly mistakes. I understand there can be an irresistible, almost impulsive urge to release a new chapter/story "hot-off-the-press" but patience is truly a virtue. So, please, take that little extra time to reread what you write. Shout out to anyone who reads and helps proof for writers. And if you DIY, that's cool too.
