I went into XY mostly blind of everything beyond the earliest reveals. Didn't even know the final starter forms.
Of all the evolutions I got to witness first hand, Barbaracle's was my favorite. I saw Binacle, laughed my ass off, and knew I had to have it. When I evolved it... shit. It was amazing.
10/10 mon, the lack of art for it is criminal. Bogleech has our back, though.

I loved that it looked like a JRPG slime creature, but had enough of its own spin to be easily recognizable Then I saw Goodra and... eh. I don't hate it, but it was really disappointing at the time.
I agree with people every single time its brought up here that James Turner designed Goomy an Sliggoo, only for Sugimori to cock it up with Goodra.
