I went in and fixed the typos you described. Never had a beta reader for the story, and I wrote the first half of the first chapter almost a year before I actually finished it and started working on the story, so the pacing might be a bit better from then on. Not to make excuses. I know it drags, and I know that the anime format I replicated intentionally has flaws that I copied over. "Episodes" are on average 10k words, which probably makes the story hard to ingest in one gulp. I also admit that, coming out of a PMD setting, I went buck fucking wild with vocabulary now that I was a little less confined.
I appreciate getting new readers for Scarlet Guardians since I think it needs the extra push with its really niche premise. Glad to hear that it's still pulling its weight, and I hope you don't get disinterested in it at some point halfway through (but if you did, it would be between chapters 6 and 8, at which point I would urge you to skip to 9 if you really needed to because I like the final arc)
