Yea its offputting and creepy. Its like some weird demon with a human body and a fox head. When I first played xy i hadn't spoiled the final evos for myself. I liked fennekin and braixen was cool although maybe too feminine for a mon that's 87.5% male, but when it evolved I almost dropped the playthrough entirely. The shiny colors are top tier though and almost (almost) redeem the design.
