>>22053771>Thinking a cat doesn't show emotionThe cat just works differently than a dog. This is kind of like needing immediate reward from a dog who is going to display love to pretty much anyone, especially if it is a dog that is meant for the elder or young like a Golden Retriever, who is very unlikely to be unsocial at all.
The cat on the other hand is not going to display itself whenever you feel like it. For instance, you can't just feel like going up to a cat and wanting to play with it, and the cat reciprocating it. But if you let the cat come to you, and, say, starts trying to get you to play or naps on your lap, that in itself is a display of the cat loving you. Remember that cats aren't social creatures, and the fact that it displays the need to be with you is much more huge than the dog doing the same.
Like I said, you're not going to get immediate reward with a cat. But the fact that you have to earn your cat's love, and that when you actually do you are sure that he does love you because of the cat's nature, it is pretty satisfying in itself.
From your post, I can tell you have never had a cat, so fuck off to /an/ and actually learn your shit.
