If you'd actually read the thread, you would have saved yourself a considerable amount of time, I was referring to shit like pic related, where Freddie's team has literal perfect stats, and incredibly optimal attacks and items. You only have the Macho Brace before postgame which is incredibly weak and tedious to use, and barely anything comparable in terms of your own items/TMs. And that's how it is until maybe the E4 where you basically either overlevel them massively (easy to do thanks to how fucking stupid Exp All is and how many trainers the game throws your way) or just lose.
