Caught an Onix at a young age almost exclusively to have something huge to ride around on. Loves Rock types, but eventually branched out to a couple of other types due to odds and ends in his adventures. Spent many years in Hoenn purely on rumors that you could find a stone golem Pokemon there. Once Regirock was found, basically just veges out in the Battle Frontier, having a general good time. Spends a lot of time grilling. Prefers slow, bulky Pokemon that don't require a lot of running around to train.
