Games regularly go through "honeymoon seasons" where they quickly discarded afterwards, there is barely any side content, interesting side content at that. Once people get bored of the new games theres basically nothing to talk about.
If mods really got rid of the waifufaggotry and Pokefucking, almost 90% of the board would be gone. We would be a board full of generals moving as fast as /an/. Waifufaggotry keeps the board somewhat active, it gives people a reason to return and such. I've accepted this fate long ago
