The ones raised by humans usually rely on their human for food but the wild ones learn how to fish and hunt. They're especially good at fishing, often seen waiting on their surfboard for fish to come close. And since Gholdengo is such a rare Pokemon and doesn't look like a predator, other mons aren't afraid of them.
