Personally, I always thought this mofo (pic related) evolved from Pinsir, and when gen V came out, I thought Bouffalant was an evolved Tauros, Emolga was an evolved Pachirisu, and Alomomola was an evolved Luvdisc. Now I just feel stupid.
Also, I used to think that Gary wasn't a douche, because Professor Oak said he was your "best friend" or something like that.
