The worse shit from the Pokemon movie was probably cutting out Mewtwo's origin with the clones and Fuji's daughter. The rest I can remember is just some very Americentric jokes like the Vikings bit, and the changed soundtrack. And the jokes and humor is honestly one of the highlights of the original series dub.
Meanwhile the Digimon movie was literally three different films smashed together, a weird forced Hikari narration in an attempt to glue it all together but just further talks down to the audience, shoving in All-Star by Smashmouth multiple times to change scenes:
