It works with all pokemons. Giving it a special item (i.e. Intimidating sword) you can add a second ability to the pokemon (in this case Intimidate to another pokemon). You can active once for battle. Some of them can change pokemon form (‘cause TPCi have to sell merchandise about new pokemon forms)
