>>48659737I think a better question would be what would trainers do about abusive Pokémon? Pokémon aren't stupid, and not all of them can be controlled or even contained within balls. A normal human without bullshit powers would be highly unlikely to properly fend off the abusive mon, or try to escape and get help.
