Their weaknesses and resistances are inverted a la inverse battles. So Negative Pikachu would be weak to flying, electric, and steel, but resist ground.
These Pokemon are rarer than shinies, being literally 1 in 1,000,000. But there's a special item you can get by completing your Currydex that increases the chances to 1 in 999,999.
Additionally, whether a Pokemon is negative or not isn't shown in team preview.
