This episode was my favorite of the filler batch so far. It's a pretty old CotD plot, but they framed it as a growth episode for Roy and Croc so by the end of it I didn't feel like my time was wasted. As an episode on its own, I enjoyed it a lot. There was a lot of clever integrating Pokemon into how the construction site worked. Luxray felt off to me, but when they used its eyes for radar, it clicked. I'll admit that at this point I'm kind of just waiting for Tinkatink and then getting back to the plot. The filler's been fine so far, but five in a row is a lot for HZ, and the Tandemaus episode doesn't really interest me outside of Hatenna getting the spotlight.
I miss Wattrel. I hope he plays a big role in the next actual arc.
