If Gamefreak gave them a second type (Like, you know, is all pokemon games after Gen 3?) and gave more details to the pokemon based on given second type, the Galar Starters could have been saved.

While Skellidirge can be slightly overdesigned (The multicolor marks on the snout arent needed), and Quaquaval sucks but at least it have quantitatively design and details (Shit ones but it has them); Meowscarada its just an anthro cat with a mask, and a crappy two folded cape...barely anything related to masquerades or magic with maybe a shitty plant floating around awkwardly around the pokemon.
