I've been compiling notes on this shit for a while now but I want to focus on postgame. Everyone talks about how there's no postgame anymore so I've thought about what can realistically be put into the postgame for the more hardcore fanbase to be satisfied:
100 Legendary Trainers return from LGPE but they all have a team of 6 Pokémon.
BattleFrontier returns with 5 facilities and PWT
A large post game area is unlocked
The Regional Legendary trio each has their own dungeon like in Gen 1 and you're explicitally told where they are nor are they even mentioned in the story.
Each town and route would have sidequests that you can comeback to.
Looker would return and have at least 7 'cases' that you can help him on.
League cards return but with every important character from the series available in regular and holo rarities.
You can collect/trade figurines of each Pokémon they're acquired in many different ways and some are rarer than others.
PokéPelago would return but expanded to managing and improving a large ranch where all of your boxed Pokémon live. You can see them roaming about and decorate the area. You would also have a house that you could decorate (buy furniture,build a shelf for your figurines, berry garden etc.)
In addition you would also still have things like completing the dex, shiny hunting, and online.
