I understand the paradox forms, but did they really have to skimp on regionals/"convergent" Pokémon, left along crossgen evolutions? I can't find a single reason to use Cacturne outside sand teams in gen 3.

Mega Cacturne when? I will never forgive Game Freak until they fix this botched excuse of a scarecrow. The design is decent, but it could definitely be improved, such as pic related, and also its the poster child for worst stat distribution possible.
