Let me see if I understand: In past games, scientists would ask you for the fossils so they could resurrect ancient Pokemon back to life by using the DNA contained in them. Even if someone would argue that the fossils were complete, there's still the Old Amber which literally has Aerodactyl's blood on it and only that, and from there is where Aerodactyl comes from. Doesn't matter if only a single bone remains fossilized, it is more than enough to bring these prehistoric Pokemon back.
Now comes Galar and you're telling me that these scientists instead of actually extracting the DNA of the half pieces of fossils they found, they instead join them together regardless if they match or not, glue them with tape and throw them into a machine to see what comes when it stops whirring. Is that what is happening? Because it is absolutely idiotic. Even more idiotic is that the Pokedex entries make you think that these Pokemon have always been like this before they went extinct, they don't mention at all that they're Frankenstein-like freaks of nature brought to life by idiotic "scientists" playing Jurassic World: Pokemon Edition, but instead of DNA manipulation, they just stick two legos of different colors together.
I just don't even.
