For what it's worth, PokeManiacs have always been Kaiju nerds. That trenchcoat mafia look is how they used to actually dress during the 90s.
Truly, we didn't know how good we had it.
Then in Gen3 onward, they started cosplaying as kaiju suit actors.
And I don't know what the fuck happened to the ones in Paldea, but they make me deeply uncomfortable and I swear I can smell their thrift shop stank through the screen.
