>>28441229>how does the idea fold out inside your head? That's a good question. I've definitely identified as some form of non-binary since middle school, and I'm now 25, so way before Tumblr/special snowflakes/trans-trenders ran away with it, but that at least helped me put a name to how I felt. I guess in my head, I have my days when I feel more male, and days when I feel more female. I like to express it in the clothes I wear and my hairstyles. There are days when I feel repulsed thinking of wearing dresses/skirts, and days when they're all I want to wear. I already have a gender neutral name IRL, so that helps. I do prefer they/them pronouns, but for me, it's literally just a preference - I don't mind or get mad about other people just using she/her. Not everyone will understand my thinking or feelings, and that's okay. The Tumblrinas and their "omg dont misgender me!!! im attacked, im triggered!!!" is just awful. And of course as I said in my first post, I don't have an issue acknowledging my biological sex - I have to, I gave birth to a child.
Strangely enough, I felt no dysphoria or feelings of being male while pregnant. I don't know about anyone else, but it may be tied to hormones for me.
I hope that makes enough sense. I don't have any Chicken-chan saved but here's some cute Eeveelution art.
