GUYS HELP
I was just boiling some spaghetti when my kid brother walked in. I gave a curt hi, he stayed silent. He walked up to the stove and just stared down the spaghetti like it raped our mom or something. I ask him if he didn't want spaghetti and he just keeps staring into the pot of boiling water. Out of nowhere he just thrusts his hand right into the pot and starts shrieking his head off. His hand is in the water for a good 2 or 3 seconds before he whips it out and shoved it in the freezer ice tray. The entire time he's completely silent, save for the screaming. I couldn't even fucking say anything I was so shocked. He told me that he did it because his entire life has been safe. He said that humans don't have anything left to truly fear, since we're almost guaranteed a relatively pain-free existence. He told me that every so
often he's taken over by the urge to harm himself or someone else because it's unnatural for humans not to experience fear. He said that the most frightening thing in his life is knowing without a doubt that he will probably live for 80+ years without having to overcome any sort of obstacle at all.
So my question is, which of the new starters should I choose?
