But do they wander up to you out of curiosity? No, they don't. You can also find numon sleeping in the wild, eating, forming small herds, protecting their young. The only difference I've seen is that Pals battle each other in the wild. But that's part of the way they're treated as wild animals. Pokemon aren't animals in the same sense. And I haven't even touched on the new Synchro Machine feature of Pokemon, which adds even more depth to your mons' behaviors.
