This facility is designed as an attraction that takes up an entire island. Giant mechanical Pokémon appear on the island and attack the player’s Pokémon. The players control their Pokémon to defeat the mechanical Pokémon and earn rewards.
Players gather allies (through communication or NPCs) before landing on Survival Island. The island always has several mechanical Pokémon available to battle. When one is defeated, another immediately appears, ensuring there are always mechanical Pokémon to fight. Players compete to see how many mechanical Pokémon they can defeat within a time limit.
Each player uses a team of three Pokémon in battles. The mechanical Pokémon opponents are set to be stronger than regular Pokémon due to their mechanical nature. Battles occur on the field, where players can move their Pokémon and choose one of four moves to use against the mechanical Pokémon.
Similar to standard battles, type advantages apply, so when playing with multiple people, players can coordinate roles such as attracting attention or focusing on attacking to gain an advantage in battle.
There are no recovery facilities on Battle Island, but players can collect berries to restore HP and cure status conditions.
