We're far gone from the Shudo era, but it'd be a glimpse of what it would have been like if they went through with writing Satoshi off. He's not quite as easy to send over the horizon with a smile and a "I'll keep working on my goal". We've spent too many individual episodes on his goal to not at least end his time on the show with some finality or circumstance.
I just hope whatever they do, they do it in a way that feels fresh and worth discussing.
I'm expecting way too much, aren't I?
