>>48591961>>48591892>>48591650>>48584829Does it ever get boring or otherwise uncomfortable being so mentally unhinged? Like, facetiously or otherwise, doesn't it make you physically unwell to behave this way?
Sword and Shield are like the third best-selling titles in the franchise. I could see why someone would refrain from buying when Dexit was first announced, or when someone found a cursor in the credits, or before the DLC was released. But after a while, there was no point in refraining, especially for the morbidly curious with the money to burn.
>If you're curious just use a hacked Switch.Okay, sure, but what's the point in trying to do that when it's easier to fork over some cash and get a legitimate copy? It's already the third best-selling title in the franchise. The answer is there is no point. At best, you're earning internet brownie points from a bunch of people who allegedly have too much integrity to buy a game that's not up their "standards" but have no qualms playing it illegally.
There's no real harm in stealing it, since it sold so well, but it's silly to act superior about it.
Sword and Shield sure has its issues. The campaign moves at a breakneck pace and the game feels really empty. But it also does a lot of cool new things that older games don't. The various candies, mints, and ability modifiers are all solid gold ideas that make interacting with various Pokemon a joy. A lot of the new Pokemon designs are awesome and despite not having every Pokemon in the game it has a huge selection of them in the wild/Wild Area that lets you quickly put together a really neat team. In addition to that, a lot of the new characters are pretty charming.
