Yes Mewtwo isn't this unstoppable omnipotent deity, but this battle will most likely end in Mewtwo stomping them both like they have to it look good especially since it's M01 Mewtwo.
Also it's pretty hard to win a fight when your opponent can just stare at you and you forget what the hell you're doing just like that.
