- MORE VARIATION WITH SHINIES: How the fuck does Vivillion get so many different types, so many Flabebes, and yet most shinies are ugly slime-green or pink pieces of shit? Imagine being able to have a red gardevoir, or a black absol. Maybe there should be an albino version of every pokemon, that's 10x rarer than shiny
- The ability to rematch anyone at will: bring back the pokegear and call up anyone to set a match
- COMPANIONS: Ash gets to travel with a companion, and have awesome double-battles. Why can't we? Recruit certain characters (or gym leaders?) to join you on your adventure. Their pokemon grow with you, and you can have tag-team battles with opponents where-ever possible. Think yugioh tag-force or rune factory
- sidequests? Not sure how they could be handled, but there's potential there
