ok I won, his team was dual Druddigon and a Kingdra for an ace, I initially tried accumulating as many Shift Gear boosts as possible so that I could run over whatever else he might bring, until I learned his Druddigon had Dragon Tail. Had to come back in, heal up, go for Gear twice, then I could OHKO his first Druddigon.His Kingdra came in, couldn't kill with Bolt Strike, but luckily he went for Dragon Dance instead of Hydro Pump cuz that would have hurt quite a bit. Hammer Arm kill, second Drud comes in, Meteor Mash, victory.
This gym was intense desu. Drayden himself could have been worse, but shit like Flygon and Gabite really made me a little nauseous at times. Also, yet another gym battle in which Yorgos came along, but made no appearance (even when Helm got Dragon Tailed out, it was Florence who came out)
Time for plot galore! If Colress' team is consistent, he'll have a Xatu for an ace iirc since he brought Natu in previous battles, and he'll probably be a Flying type trainer. Wonder what Ghetsis will bring tho (and considering I play on similar strength, whatever will replace his Hydreigon probably won't be a lot more fun to fight than a Hydreigon)
