>>25091238Sky's the best of the bunch in terms of postgame, in my opinion. Hell, the credits roll is only about 60-70% through the game. Recruiting everything is nowhere near as hellish as Red/Blue, there are a ton of dungeons, there are treasure hunting missions via bottles on the beach, and it has probably the most well balanced of the level 1 dungeons in ZIS, having no suddenly OP pokemon in your way. (Parasect/Kadabra in Blue, BELLOSSOM in SMD) You can easily spend 100+ hours in the postgame after the entire story is all well and done just doing missions, far more if you try out the level 1 dungeons and recruiting everything.
Super's post credits story is really short. Recruitment is far easier, but you have no randomly generated missions, which hurts the game in the long run. Sacred Ruins feels poorly balanced with how it throws a ton of extremely overpowered enemies at you randomly. I have failed several runs simply because I walked into a room on a dark floor and got 360 noscoped by Bellossom. But overall, even though the game's more or less over once you recruit everything, it's a fun ride.
Red/Blue Rescue Team is notable for the sheer length of the dungeons you're given in the postgame, with Stormy Sea being 40f, followed by a 99f dungeon in Buried Relic. It has an extremely loose story, but it's fine. The fact you can start 1shotting everything with your normal attack at around 140 attack or so basically makes the entire postgame a massive pushover if you put effort into buffing a favorite. Recruiting everything is hell on earth. Simply put, you're not recruiting Chansey the normal way. Wish Cave's wishing mechanic is neat, but generally you'll use it to recruit. Overall, it's a mixed bag. Things take too much exp to level up, though, and needing to run into friend areas after every trip makes taking partners into dungeons tedious.
