What happened was a group of dudes (Thunberblunder, I don't know who else) went around and hounded people who voted for NO BAN to change their votes to BAN. You can thank those guys for the initial Aegislash ban, since the vote was just barely what was needed to get it banned.
That was immediately shut down, as they made it so you aren't able to change your vote once it's in.
